After the No Border Camp at the island of Lesvos the groups from Europe (Germany, Austria, France, England, and etc…) that participated at the camp and the actions that were taken for the closing of the detention center for refugees of “Pagani”, are proposing to do a Europe wide mobilization and action based on the detention centers (jails) that are being constructed on the European borders.

The mobilizations that have been scheduled in different parts of Europe, are demonstrations at the Greek embassies, pointing out the issue of the inhuman conditions at the detention centers and concentration camps, to stop sending back the refugees to Greece or other countries but instead to let them stay at the countries that they arrived, the illegal deportations, the European agreement on migration, and on the pick of all this the closing of the detention center of  “Pagani” and other detention centers around the borders of Europe.

Based on this European networking between the groups that participated at the No Border Camp, The Diktio (Network for social support to Migrants and Refugees) that was one of the organizers of the camp decided to co-organize with other groups, organizations, migrants organizations, and communities that are interested, a mobilization about the detention centers and the strict European policies on migration on the 17^th of October. The preparatory meeting will take place at Steki Metanaston Tsamadou 13-A Exarchia  square on Thursday 8^th of October at 20:30.
